OUR HAPPY BLOCK: a neighborhood project

Community Love: Sometimes you've got to put sweat equity into your community to make it a healthier and more sustainable place.

Terah Beth envisioned, designed and coordinated the Our Happy Block project. The project transformed a huge neighborhood parking lot into a much more friendly and safe place for the neighbors (and wildlife). Depaved 4,300 square feet of asphalt and added 4 new rain gardens to catch parking lot water run-off and planted over 1,400 native trees, shrubs and grasses!

And the love bomb mural!

The project has greatly improved the livability of the neighborhood....

AND IT WAS ALL VOLUNTEER!
